Updated my previous version to include this year and last year.
I think it's pretty accurate. It would appear that the Vols are very slowly closing the gap, but those expectations keep remaining high. Thoughts?

To be real though, Tennessee is going to have a shite year next year. They lose so many key contributors it is insane. If they get 7 wins I'll be surprised.

Cute little chart but 2012 and 2016 were the only years VOLS have really underperformed relative to expectations in that timeframe if we are dealing in reality. I think most will expect 7-8 next year.

Reel gator thought Luke Del Rio was better than Tom Brady and your defense was better than the 85 Bears.
If I made charts and graphs of his "predictions" and labeled them as Gators fans thoughts it would look very similar to the OP.

No. most had us at 10-2. So we still underperformed but no one was thinking undefeated with that 4 game stretch in the middle of the season. LSU was the one that had everyone saying 11-1/12-0
