He is, he was fantastic at Vanderbilt and did great considering what he had to work with at Penn State, there's literally no denying this.

My favorite thing about Shoop is that his defense is always aggressive. Jancek pretty much stopped any blitzing whatsoever and called soft man coverages late in close games, hence our struggles in those positions. It was like Chavis but worse. I bet a 2015 team with Shoop instead of Jancek at DC goes 9-3 or 10-2 instead of 8-4.

He's actually walked into a gold mine. Jones has recruited fantastic.

There really are none. No "young team" bullshite for Butch to fall back on. Our best players are finally almost all juniors and seniors.

It would have to be our biggest choke of the entire streak if we lost to them again this year. And a few of those chokes were pretty bad.

Realistically, only beating UF by 7 or 10 would be underwhelming for UT this year. Vols have every conceivable advantage on paper: talent, depth, experience, QB and RB positions, home field, motivation. Possibly not coaching, but that's about it. Ordinarily around 14 to 17 point favorites in Vegas, though it may be less because of the streak. Not saying a loss isn't possible, but if it somehow does happen, it won't be by much. It would take an epic choke job.
