Didn't you guys give up over 400 yards to Florida?

Congrats on having a defense worse than UMass, I suppose.

Have to admit, I've never seen fans or a coach celebrate beating a team playing a backup QB like UT has. Fulmer might have hated Spurrier and Florida more than anyone, but can't imagine he would have been going nuts and leading the band in rocky top if they beat a Florida team using a backup QB. Kinda sad and pathetic.

Don't know what game you are talking about. Florida did not have 400 yards against UT. Congrats on being clueless.

ETA... skrayper

I'll admit when I was wrong...I had Florida down for 92 yards in the second half, and they had 102. So, you can congratulate me on being clueless. I won't be a pussy and change my earlier post...I'll just say that I was wrong and you were right. My bad.

Florida's QB definitely had no part in the reason Florida lost that game. Appleby played well, and did everything LDR could have done.

@madmax: Florida had 402 yards of total offense.

You are right...I was looking at last year's stats when they had 392. My bad.

Yeah, and we were playing backups for Sutton, Kirkland and Reeves-Maybin. So what? You're just envious of our 10 game winning streak.

Lol VOLS were missing 3 of our 4 best defensive players in Kirkland, JRM and Sutton. That didn't stop Tennessee's defense from completely taking over the game in the second half.

Speaks more to how average Florida continues to be. Perhaps they should fire Mcelwain.

I was saying that when they only beat Kentucky by 38 last week.

Please, if y'all were in the SEC west you would be middle of the pack. In the past 8 years, UT has won 2 out of 20 games against the SEC West. All UT fans should be sending Joshua Wheeler a Christmas present for helping end the streak.

Appleby is a terrible decision maker. Luke would not have forced an interception on the first play after Tennessee took the lead.

Keep in mind that McElwain said the QB competition between Appleby and LDR was down to the wire and that LDR won the start by a VERY thin margin.
