I don't like this schedule. When I was in school we played Oregon (2x) OU, and NC State OOC (1 year we played Cincy) even though we sucked. UT has a strong tradition of having tough OOC opponents and I don't want to see that go anywhere.

Tennessee has played tough SEC OOC for generations. They are one of the SEC schools that has set that standard

^This. Plus the playoff committee doesn't give a frick about SoS. There's no longer an incentive to play those games. We had a top 5 toughest schedule in all of CFB for several years and it didn't earn us anything not a single props.

Yea - the mountain thing is different than rednecks. You can make fun of rednecks all you want, but the WVU-Tennessee thing has it's own unique flavor.
