Vols football has won 16 conference championships. Only Bama and Texas A&M have won more.

It's hard to say considering NC's use to be handed out before bowl games. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

With that being said...the others are no different than aTm's claim on 1919 and 1927. So, I'm not sure exactly what you are laughing at.
