South Carolina is better right now, because Mizzou is at an all time low. No way that is a better program historically. They last made the sweet sixteen in like 1972.

Cuonzo style is a better fit for the Big 10. He is a Gene Keady clone.

He runs one of the driest styles of basketball that I've ever watched. Almost zero transition game and we didn't stretch the court at all while he was here even though we had the players to do so. Everything was slow pace which I hated. He runs a very similar style of basketball to Frank Martin imo (Ugly meat grinder style games. All defense and a boring offense) except CM doesn't look like he's so mad that he's about to stroke out on the side line.

He's a good man and a good role model for his players. Missouri could definitely make a worse hire than Cuonzo, but I would think they could do a lot better as well. His last 2 UT teams were loaded with talent (3 players currently in the NBA) but barely squeaked into the play in game his last year here.

He's a lot better than Kim, but I think he's far from a splash hire.

ETA: didn't read a single response in this thread until after I had already posted so apologies for telling you more of what everyone else has already hammered down itt.

Every year it was too little, too late. His teams before SEC play were do disoriented and then they'd get hot the last month of the season.
