Visiting with Aggies in T-Town last night.

I handle RV parking for my daughters private school in downtown Tuscaloosa. I had a chance to park about 8 Group of Aggies, yesterday and last night. Had a very enjoyable time. Those I visited with were very nice and really excited to visit for the 1st time and go to Bryant-Denny tomorrow. They are all happy to be in the SEC.
The one thing that struck me, is by and large, they think Chavis is the missing link to them stepping up to the next level. This is to include a guy who was a RC Slocum assistant from back in the day. Good visits!

It's pretty crazy to me everyone thinks Chavis is the difference to them going anywhere. Their defense have up what, almost 700 yards to Tennessee? If they didn't give the ball away 7 times they win the game by likely 2+ TDs.
I don't think Trevor Knight gets enough credit honestly. To me he's the reason they're where they are. And it will be because of him if they beat Bama today.

The difference this year is the defense is making big plays. Goal line stuffs against UCLA and Pig, turnovers against UT. It's been a long time since I've felt confident in our defense to get a stop when we need one.

That will wear off. It did here in Baton Rouge. Chavis is a great D Coordinator but he lacks when it comes to crunch time and stopping game winning drives.
