Video: Ryan Anderson describes how Alabama knew TAMU's play calls

100% tendency from TAMU's offensive tackle gave away the play selection, run or pass, every single time. Definitely explains why they were able to tee off on Trevor Knight. 5 sacks and 9 QB hurries, with a forced fumble.
Might want to get that fixed.

Will make our Thanksgiving game that much easier
Key will have 5 sacks alone

Makes me mad they scored at all. We better tighten up!

I would expect them to have that problem fixed.
I definitely think they'll get a lot of pressure on Knight, but I'm not sure about all the sacks. One of the reasons Bama didn't have more was because of how mobile he is. You can't have your defensive ends rushing straight up field every play and leaving huge running lanes for a QB like him.

Saban is the Belichick of CFB
I think the reason we struggle post Bama every year is as much Saban showing the blue print as it is anything else.
He would field elite teams even without elite talent. Great coach

I'm sure Saban learned a few things under Belichick

This is prep football level shite here, man. Basic, unbelievably obvious keys that should never, ever happen at the college level.
That's an indictment on the TAMU coaching staff as much or more than it is a compliment to the Bama staff and players for picking up on it. Should have never happened. They literally pay people on staff to "self scout" and identify their own tendencies. Unreal how they made it to week 8 without catching it.

I don't care about Alabama, is it snowing where you are?

Honestly, this is pretty basic stuff. Every defense is reading keys like that. I'm not sure every oline is giving tells like that, though.

They were undefeated. How did nobody else pick it up besides Bama?

Not yet. It's hit freezing a few times, but this week we're in the mid 70s. Pretty much perfect weather right now.

No idea. Really baffling. Or maybe they did, and just weren't athletic enough to make it count. We have the best defensive line in the country and they were still able to put up two touchdowns - even as we were recognizing the play type.
