Couldn't agree more. I am more than happy with LSU starting top 10-15. If we have the pedigree next year, all the chips will fall into place. If not, we started where we belong.

Where is Tennessee?

but why be happy with where you're starting? Starting ranked has never won any games last time I checked

Bama v FSU labor day weekend is going to be awesome. I think this game will be the first in new Mercedes Benz Stadium too which will just add to the buzz. Going to be an expensive ticket on the secondary market but will not miss this one.

Not sure if your serious or trolling?..
Whats not to be happy about? You have to start somewhere. For a team like LSU with young talent, a fantastic defense and a chip on their shoulder for under-performing the past few years, I personally am a fan of starting outside the top 10. I feel like it makes a team hungry, and with LSUs daunting schedule next year, they have every opportunity to prove their mettle.
Conversely, if they started inside the top 5 (with this team) I would not be a fan of the hype. Like I said, I would rather them prove themselves to crack top 5 than deal with the over-rated hype that comes with pre-season rankings.
(PS: I guess I am really talking about actual pre-season rankings, not these early, early, early rankings that will change 100 times).
