SIAP; well, not really, since it's off season and this was over a month ago... Here are mine

SEC

Alabama: 9.5 (-135o) - under (I see 3 losses) to UGA. LSU and one to Aubbie, Ole Miss, Tenn or Wisky

Arkansas 8 (-140u) - under, but I do see 7 wins regular season

Auburn: 8.5 (-130o) - under (I have the Aubs w 8 wins)

Florida: 7 (-130o) - push

Georgia: 9 (-125o) - over

Kentucky: 5.5 (-130o) - over, WAY over - KY will surprise this year

LSU: 8.5 (-130o) - over, I think they go 10 - 2 and win the West

Ole Miss: 8.5 (-115) - over, 9 wins for the Rebs

Mississippi State: 7 (-145u) - under

Missouri: 7.5 (-135o) - over, at least 9 wins

South Carolina: 6.5 (-155o) - under, I see 6 wins and wheels coming off the bus in the OBC's farewell tour

Tennessee: 8 (-160u) - under, 7 wins for the Vols

Texas A&M: 8 (-120u) - under

Vanderbilt: 3.5 (-135u) - over, win every OOC game, winless in conference

This is all preseason BULLSHITE. Injuries, weather, whatever, influence how seasons play out. In the preseason this is all about attracting peoples money to a wager.

None of these frickers has as a clue how it will turn out.

UF has a new coach and is "rebuilding"

Tenn would be doing great to win 7 games, continue the upward trend. Bama, UGA, OK & MO - I have KY as the 5th L - Tenner and SC are the 2 I am least confident about...

AU finished last year on a downward spiral

You think Aubbie wins at least 9 games?

some of the numbers don't actually jive with the overall odds for said team to win the NC. For example, LSU is only at 8.5 (according to your list), however, having been in Vegas last month, they had LSU on the board as one of the top 10 favorites to win the NC. There is some value here at this point until these win totals catch up to reality.

Just looking at them below, the three that stand out are LSU, A&M, and Ole Miss. LSU won 8 games last year....they return 16 starters....many of which were true freshmen....over all day. A&M and Ole Miss, neither are going 9-3. Ole Miss has no OL and no running game, and a new QB. Good luck. A&M.....

I'm so fricking sick of people underestimating us. I'm telling you, there are gonna be a LOT of "yall gonna learn today" moments for tSEC this year

Based upon? I'm not even trying to troll, but what exactly is it that other teams should be fearing from A&M right now? You have a coach that hasn't proven anything in the SEC, yet you keep giving him raises/extensions. Doesn't make sense. Could A&M beat LSU? Sure. However, you will need to change what you do in order to do that as the games have been pretty much owned by LSU. Just a bad matchup for A&M. If you go 9-3 this year I'd say that was a great year for A&M. I expect more like a 7-5 type season....possibly 8-4 for a good regular season.

7-5 would be a poor season for us this year. We lose very little from last year, have added another year of development in the offseason, have another consensus top 10 class coming in, and by all accounts have a schedule that's a bit more manageable and less hellacious this year (still not easy). Only having a 1-game improvement in the record would definitely not be cause for Jones's firing or possibly even the hot seat yet, but it would be a bit disappointing. If we can get past UK and SC (we've won the past two years with inferior teams to this one), that along with 3 OOC's and Vandy should give us 6 wins. From there we have Oklahoma, @UF, Arky, UGA and @Mizzou which are all more or less tossups, 3 of which are at home. And @Bama where we are underdogs but may have a shot. A 7-5 season would mean we went a disappointing 1-5 in our tossup games, or we lost a game we really shouldn't have. The baseline expectation is generally considered to be 8-4, with a couple of decent to solid wins. We're a little thin on depth in a few areas, but at this point, we have enough SEC talent to make more than just a one game jump.

TLDR: 7-5 would be disappointing. 8-4 minimum

Yes we do have Tennessee on our schedule while you have Missouri. Seems to be a difference of one the past three years. Otherwise we both play the "weak" East though for some reason we seem to plow through it while you guys sometimes knock off Vandy and Kentucky.
