It was 4.5 Sunday evening and 7.5 by Monday afternoon. I'll laugh if it adjusts up again.

Not how it works. Sharp money is usually the last to play. On occasion, it will come in early on an inflated line, but that is much rarer.

I haven't seen a Gambling Forum on here, so I have to ask: Do people really think that spreads are indicative of what Vegas thinks?

The hell does this have to do with anything? Your boy said Vegas has spoken. Even at -4.5, that means Vegas still thinks MSU is about to get beat.

They get in early before lines are moved. On Sunday. When it opened at 3 and quickly went up to 6, so wouldn't a lot of pros be on UGA?

The smart guys get in early usually Sunday night and Monday morning so the early move is where they see value. If it opened at 3 and jumped to 7 then yes the pros got on GA early. Wise guys have also been know to bet early and hope the line moves a lot so they can bet the other side and try to "middle" game.
