Vandy Building New $12 Million Baseball Facility

Construction will begin after '16 season and be ready for '17. The building itself will be the left field wall replacing the "green monster" with Corbin's office at top over looking. Current left field facility will be redeveloped into a much larger locker room and multipurpose facility for all sports.

It's kind of funny you post this when the other Vandy fan has a thread complaining about no money going to football improvements.

We badly need football enhancements, especially the weight room & stadium is 4 decades behind. That said the IPF that opened in '12 cost $31 million and the upgraded training facility opening this fall had a $6 million price tag.
Stadium is reaching a point of critical mass though. I doubt much happens soon though with a HC that is so clearly in over his head.

No renderings yet but if it follows the same pattern as the last few major reno projects at VU there will be something released shortly. Heard a few more details last night, going to be first class all the way.

Nothing yet but Corbin gave some details in an interview last week. It's gonna be very impressive.
