It's kind of sad the people who don't know the difference between Memorial Day and Armed Forces Day. Then throw Labor Day in there and people really manage to frick it all up.

How we handle Bastille Day will determine whether we are saints or sinners. You can tell a lot about a university from their choices regarding La Marseillaise. Some say it's better to just forget it than to allow it to be played as a timpani/flugelhorn duet. I disagree, but the administration in Nashville apparently felt differently.
