USCe do you think you can pull Kevin O'Sullivan,that will be the best SEC baseball thread

If you do. Radio shows have been pumping this but I know it's a dead time for them. USC cares more and has better facilities.

Would you want to coach at a place where the "fans" don't even show up when you're playing in the championship? SC will be a much deserved upgrade for sully

Sorry your coach may leave a championship team because your facilities are sub par and your fans don't care, it enjoy what you got out of it.

Don't know a lot about O'Sullivan, but he definitely could use this championship to strangle hold uf into more salary and more funding into the program if he wanted to. If those are things he is looking for and uf won't commit, SCAR could pull him.
He really has no reason to leave a team he built and won a championship with. So Ultimately there's no reason to leave unless he isn't willing to stick around and build facilities and a fanbase.
That's my $0.02 on it.

My Gator friends tell me that UF has already made a deal with Sully that includes a lot of dough and facility commitments, but hasn't made it public yet.

News just broke that the board of trustees is discussing an athletics contract tomorrow. Looks like Ray has made his hire.

Yep he is now the highest paid Div I baseball coach. Facilities are in the works. HE aint goin nowhere for at least 10 years.

One thing 10rc doesn't ever have to worry about is someone trying to hire away their coaches. Is this what it has come to for the vols? Hoping someone hires the Florida coaches away? Pretty sad. Our facilities have been good enough over the last 10 years to win championships in all 3 major men's sports. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

The guy is a good coach and everyone bashing him probably knows nothing about him. Won 40+ games, top flight recruiting class, beat UF and FSU this year and took USF to a regional for the first time in a while I believe.
