The following is cut-and-pasted from the official SEC website:

quote:

Texas A&M 16-7 41-7 29-4 9-3
LSU 16-7 40-8 25-6 11-2
Arkansas 14-10 29-18 20-10 9-5
Auburn 12-12 32-17 24-8 7-9
Ole Miss 11-13 25-24 15-10 9-13
Miss St 8-16 24-24 20-14 4-8
Alabama 8-16 23-24

I am surprised with how Bama has tanked, and that MSU nearly took 2 from LSU. Crazy year. It'll be a fun finish.

Edit: I bolded some text that Tiger posters somehow keep missing.

I'm surprised we took 1 game from that Mizzou series thought for sure we would get swept

Here, let me fix that for you.

LSU 16-7 40-8 25-6 11-2
Texas A&M 16-7 41-7 29-4 9-3
Arkansas 14-10 29-18 20-10 9-5
Auburn 12-12 32-17 24-8 7-9
Ole Miss 11-13 25-24 15-10 9-13
Miss St 8-16 24-24 20-14 4-8
Alabama 8-16 23-24

Head-to-head does matter in final seeding

Like I said. It's was cut-and-pasted from the official website. I assume they list A&M first because of our superior overall record.

Were you surprised LSU nearly swept A&M? I was not

Those are some pretty good teams there. The Aggies and LSU have been solid all season and no team in the SEC is as hot as the Razorbacks are at the moment.

Though, being a young team, they could go flat just as quickly. I hope not as it would be nice to make a run in the post season.

Auburn is hanging in there while Bama and State... well in part they are having a down year. They also are playing some really good teams in conference. I haven't seen enough of their games to tell if they better then what their record shows or not.

A&M had a game against Kentucky cancelled. What's your point?

We are getting worse. We actually played well through the meat of the schedule. And have tanked since playing Florida, Texas A&M, and LSU.

It's been a familiar theme this season with Bama sports. I'm glad it worked in basketball.

The only game of the series that wasn't close and didn't come down to the late innings was game 3, which A&M won convincingly.

That doesn't equal LSU "nearly sweeping" A&M.

We dropped a putout at 1st base that allowed 4 runs to score. Otherwise we would've swept. That much more "nearly" happened than State taking 2 of 3 from us, shiny bait in the OP notwithstanding.

You lost 6-2. Those 4 runs not happening would have only tied it.
