If you're doing tie breakers, State is over OM and LSU

I just listed ties by win%. All 3 are listed at 2 in the west.

I am going to need UF to win 2/3 while &M sweeps Arky. A&M then takes a share of the conference lead.

Except .... A&M still has to come to SCAR for a series.

Everything will work itself out in May ... it always does.

Except that time in 2011 when there were 3 conference champions.

I’ll be honest, I don’t follow college baseball closely. Is the #28 RPI good enough to be considered for a regional at #3 or #4 seed? Or are those seeds set aside for non power 5?

The RPI isn't the problem for Georgia. You have to finish with an overall record above .500 to get into postseason play.

This will be a fun weekend, but we haven't won a series vs. Florida since the 2011 CWS. So, I'm not going to get my hopes up.

State looking good. With series wins @ Florida, @ Vanderbilt, @LSU, Ole Miss . Their lone SEC series loss is A&M. The competition declines a little with Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, and Missouri. Some big series coming up with LSU vs Ole Miss, South Carolina vs Florida , Texas AM got a couple of good series coming up. State could push for the lead.

I don't think State will need any tiebreakers. They'll host, barring some complete collapse. I also see Florida, South Carolina and A & M hosting. The committee should give the SEC five host spots based on the quality of the teams--six is justifiable, too, but they probably won't do it for PC reasons. The fifth host spot will go to one of these three: Ole Miss, LSU or Vandy. This weekend's OM/LSU series could be a host spot elimination deal.

Forgot about that.

Was that the year that SCAR, Florida and Vandy finished the season unanimously #1, #2 & #3 in the country?
