Kentucky's crushing win over South Carolina keeps the Wildcats in first place. They are playing really good basketball right now, and certainly seem to be the favorites to win the regular season title and grab the #1 seed in Nashville. They should have an easy win at home against Tennessee Thursday night, but a quick turnaround on the road against A&M Saturday could be interesting.
LSU notches a big win against a reeling Texas A&M to remain undefeated at home in conference play. In order for the Tigers to keep pace with Kentucky, they might need a 2-0 week. A tough home game against a hot Alabama team won't be easy.
Speaking of Alabama, a huge win at Florida MIGHT have Alabama in the NCAA Tournament as of now. At the least, they're right there on the bubble. A win on the road against LSU or Kentucky would very likely get the Tide into the tournament.
Florida better watch themselves here in the next couple of weeks. Alabama was just the first game of a very difficult 6-game stretch that could really define the Gators' season. Their win against West Virginia and overall OOC schedule should prop them up pretty high in the eyes of the committee, but a disastrous stretch here could make their NCAA Tournament hopes a little iffy.
Vanderbilt destroyed Auburn Saturday, which was the first of a very manageable 3-game stretch. They really need to win the next two before they get into a tough 4-game stretch to end the regular season.
South Carolina is still very much in the thick of things in the conference title race, thanks, in part, to their very easy schedule. Out of their six remaining opponents, only one of them (Florida) will likely make the NCAA Tournament; and two of their three remaining road games are against the two worst teams in the conference. I've said all along that 13-5 would very likely share the conference title. A 5-1 finish is certainly achievable for the Gamecocks.

Alabama is on a bit of a roll lately. However, three of their next four are on the road against Florida, LSU, and Kentucky. They'll need a couple of statement wins in the upcoming few weeks in order to pad their NCAA résumé.

Good work as always

Still think Bama and Vandy have shots at the tourney, Vandy needs to get hot and bama needs to keep rolling

Our NCAA hopes are dependent on earning a good seed and then winning the SEC tournament. But we do need to beat Arky to make a good seeding more realistic.

They both for sure do, but Vandy's is a lot more realistic simply because of the schedule.

Alabama absolutely must end the regular season on a good note. I don't expect any wins coming against LSU, UK, and Florida on the road, but they must avoid the "bad" losses.

Without a doubt they do ... Vandy especially with their schedule. But Bama does as well - they're just so damn schizophrenic.

If Bama can just finish around .500 with the only losses being some of these tough road games we could still get in if we get a win or 2 in the SEC tourney.
We just have to avoid any bad losses

I got Bama finishing 20-12 (9-9). They already have several good wins. Really only 1 bad loss. It could come down to the SEC tourney and other conference tourneys, but damn, they have a shot at the Dance. Really couldn't have asked for much more this season.

A&M's only win left is at Missouri and MAYBE Mississippi State.

Kentucky's @ Carolina and A&M the next two Saturdays. It's showtime baby!

Kentucky's conference schedule is hard AF

As are UF's and LSU's.
South Carolina is probably going to win the conference by virtue of having easily the easiest conference schedule.

Well if we beat UK and UF then we will win the conference by virtue of having beaten the best teams in the conference so...
