All-time AP rankings (25 pts for a 1st place finish, 24 pts for a 2nd place finish, etc.... going back to 1936):
I've also included how many spots each program has moved up or down since the beginning of this current decade (2010):

That is movement so far this decade (2010-2016). Georgia and Auburn have been jostling back-and-forth for the past 30 years. Since 2010, Auburn has 4 Top 25 finishes to our 3... and one of those was #1, which is worth 25 points). They've moved very slightly ahead but could easily lose it with one solid Georgia season next year.

I always thought Oklahoma had a better program than Alabama.

Auburn has 554 points
Georgia has 548 points
Literally just a #19 finish for Georgia next season with Auburn finishing unranked would flip the two.
