I think the odds that Nick Saban is one of the posters on this thread are higher than the odds that Saban had no idea what Bo Davis was doing.

You think Saban monitors every phone call made by all of the position coaches on his staff? I know Saban has beaten LSU five times in a row and everything, but he isn't God.

This seems to have upset some people.
I interrupted story time with facts.

I apologize.

Glad this is resolved so that we can put this behind us and all get back to being focused on Ole Miss.

i just knew when I opened the link it was going to open to something called Joe Bob's Dixieland sports.

I'll wait until I hear it from a reputable source. No offense Joe Bob.

frick you.

Your coach and your program have been cheating for years. Without a doubt the dirtiest program in the history of college football.

But you lay claim that CNS is great?
Dude you are spreading that Bama butt hurt around tonight

This is hilarious if we are expected to believe this.

You're telling me that a guy that has worked for Saban for like 10 years is now all of a sudden fired by him because of some small incident like this?

Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure. And Laremy Tunsil was inhaling pure oxygen from a gas mask.

Meh. Trying to cover up your tracks on the smallest of things can bite you. But this won't end up nearly as bad as some of you want it to. Losing a couple of scholarships is the end game.

It's easier to think that better programs are cheating than to accept that your team just isn't good enough.

Less than 24 hours ago it was Ole Miss. Now it's Alabama. All LSU needs to complete the trifecta is Bielema-gate.

Bo Davis is a veteran coach that worked for Saban a long time. He knew what Saban expected from and and also what Saban does/doesn't tolerate. Davis obviously went outside of those boundaries to the point that Saban fired him. My fellow Bama fans can spin this all they want but I'm not so optimistic.

Even Saban himself had illegal contact with the recruit in the stands at the basketball game and tried to play dumb about the rules

Wrong. Saban was allowed to contact the player, the violation was the idiot cameraman that showed Saban in the stands with him on the jumbotron. Saban had nothing to do with it.

So some of you were hoping this was something more and are upset that it wasn't?

Am I getting that right?

Yikes.

Yup, they can't beat us in the field so they have to resort to wishful thinking.

Is there anything sadder than that?
