Has the look and smell of the movie A Few Good Men.

NOBODY does anything in that program unless they have been given the ok from the top or directed to do something from the top

The same thing happened at LSU a few years ago. They get a tip get rid of the coach that got caught get a small slap on the wrist move on. The head coach never gets involved with the shady stuff so he has total deniability the whole time. He knows it is happening and allows it he just doesn't actually do any of the stuff. If you think that your team is clean then you are delusional.

This may seem trivial to most people and probably would be to most coaches but Saban is not most coaches. HE is in charge, HE makes the rules, HE tells you when and where. There will never be a team vote in Tuscaloosa. If you can't work FOR him you won't work with him. He is the type leader we missed at Bama for a few years.

Everybody contacts during dead period but if Saban says no contact you better damn well better have no contact. It wasn't what Davis did, it's that he ignored a direct order that got Nick p'd off. This man is Bryant made over and the results speak for his leadership skills.

Really believe this is the reason Coach Davis was let go or just making yourself think this was the reason?

the OP clearly states that was more than "something like that"......i understand reading comprehension may not be a strong point but if you kept reading you would see the part about lying to his boss
My comprehension is fine. That part was too stupid to even comment on. As crooked as Saban is he isn't going to fire a veteran coach and let it out that his staff broke rules just because he lied to him. He would have told him to look around or have Bo say he had to resign for personal reasons. It's politics.

Again, it's just some article a Bama fan wrote hoping people will believe it and stop talking about it.

Spin, spin, spin. If the story was true, the University would have said that Davis was let go after committing a "secondary violation " and failed to cooperate with the Administration. Silence is not good.

Lol the NCAA wouldn't be investigating or making inquiries about a secondary violation

The NCAA is not investigating this and has not been reported that way at all by any news outlet. I checked the NCAA website and their is no document number for this investigation. I know for a fact no one from the NCAA has gone to the campus. The ONLY reason people are making a big deal out of this is because it's Bama. Do you think contact during a dead period at Vandy would be getting any news? You will probably never hear another word about this from the NCAA or anybody else that is credible and credible doesn't apply to LSU fans in this case.

If I'm wrong please link the news of their "investigation" into Bama.

The NCAA website is about as updated as the VA websites. If the NCAA was involved, the news wouldn't be released to the public until late summer.

Chances that bammer is cheating: 100 percent

Chances the NCAA will do anything about it: 1 percent
