Listen, I am not one to blindly take up for our coaches. I will call it like I see it.

If cowart was a WR or a QB (neither of whom we seem to be able to develop), your criticism would be well founded.

However, Garner has been developing STUDS on the DL no matter how many stars they have.

Cowart is just not a good football player. He is lazy and does not play with passion. Maybe he will get it together and be motivated one day. But as others have said, he was getting beat in 1:1 drills by WALK ON offensive linemen in the fall. He virtually walked out of practice in week 2 over it. He is soft.

Let me say it again....."walk on" OL.

Garner put him in game situations to see if the light would come on for him and it did not.

Auburn and the SEC will never hear his name again.

His HS coach said this very thing, that he was spoiled and took more plays off than not. I didn't want to believe it, since "#1" overall recruit and all. It appears his HS coach was correct.

Spin is making everything positive. I just said our coaches suck at developing a QB and WR. They are hit and miss on the OL as well.

But DL? We got that covered. Cowart sucks. That is a fact not a spin.
