If this is going to be the law, then that would eliminate 90% of the posters on here.

I know this thread is about trolling, not serious discussion, but Imma be serious for second anyway...

Why should we assent to their request to play us? What do we get out of it? They are a major national brand that, for the foreseeable future, is stuck playing Thursday night games in Ames, Iowa and trying to sell their program on games against Baylor and Tech and Kansas and Ok State and KSU and WV.

We have a major advantage over them right now in terms of exposure. How does it benefit us to willingly give up at least some of that advantage?

agreed, them ducking us back in 2011 was a real shitty look

They ducked us awhile back too. We went into Austin and beat them as one of the top ranked teams in the country and they frickin wormed out of the return game.

frick those pussies. I would straight up tell them to frick off if I were Aggy.

And they aren't gonna be "monsters" again under Herman. He is over rated as a coach.

It would be 70% or more. You are so off base.

I'd like to see the game come back. Thanksgiving isn't the same without it. And I'm still salty about the bullshite pass interference that won them the 2011 game.

The real question is if UT is willing to split the money up fairly. Their greed almost destroyed their conference.

Uh, no?

Since when are you invested in SEC football? Aren't "your" Dodgers in the playoffs?

Makes a lot of sense in many ways. I would be all for it as would most Ags I know.

I mean they are drilling y'all in recruiting this year. That new sheen of the SEC appears to be wearing off a bit. They just went out and got their man in Herman, it'll be interesting to see if A&M can do the same this offseason.

Have to applaud Texas for being the bigger man here

Not only are they the bigger fish, they're open to restoring the relationship with the smaller program that ducked them.

I don't often support the Horns, but they're showing how to lead from the front in Texas

Because rivalry football games are fun and entertaining. Since football is just entertainment for a few months a year, it seems like a good idea.
