Unbiased Daily brings you perspective from a neutral, unbiased viewpoint.

Today on unbiased daily, I can already sense the fear in Bama fans and the season hasn't started. They are fearful of LSU. Bama fans will say they are not scared, and will downplay it all they want, but deep down they know that LSU is a major threat to their reign.

If you can sense the thickness of the fear this early, how bad will it be after the Wisconsin game?

I am not a fan of either team, but the fear is real.

We've known that since before the "reign" began. This isn't new.

We aren't USC in a weak Pac 10 in the early 2000s and bludgeoning everyone to death. We understand our league is nipping at our heels. All it takes is a 4-5 plays going another way and we go 9-3 instead of 11-1.

We will play 4-5 close, tough games and hopefully we win most of them. The trip to Baton Rouge will be a 4 quarter blood match like it always is.

I don't think Bammer fans can show fear because that would require sentience.

I think the last two years have proven that Ole Miss poses a greater threat to us than LSU

OP nicely crafted thread, can you keep this type of shite for the inbreds on this board instead of polluting the other boards? This is fine but we are trying to revamp TD a bit. I'm sure you'd understand.

That's how I identify Gumps--the brown spots on their pants.

I can tell you have a deep hatred for USCw. SEC 0-4 against USCw since 2000. And not just 0-4 but embarrassed. "Cadillac" Williams, Ronnie Brown, Felix Jones, and Darren McFadden couldn't put up a SINGLE touchdown against USC in any of those games. None of them went over 100 yards in any performance. Talk about how those teams were down all you want. Arkansas, SEC West Champions the year USC throttled them 50-14 in their own stadium. Auburn was pre-season ranked #6 or something with Cadillac and Ronnie Brown and they were shutout at home by USC. They had a winning season at 8-5. That was the year LSU couldn't gain the respect of the AP Poll, and USC was recognized as National Champions.

Edit: Haha, and to add...all 4 of those SEC backs were First Round picks, 3 of them Top 5 picks! Jones was Pick 22 in 1st round.

When you think about it the only way for Alabama to "win" is to win a national championship.

Other teams win a Big Six Bowl game and they did what they were supposed to do or even overachieved a little bit. But not for the Crimson Tide.

Also as a Georgia fan I remember last year after the loss (and 5 turnovers) against Ole Miss how everyone said the dynasty was over, and well we all remember how that turned out...

What? I don't have any hatred for USC.

Those USC teams were great and would have been really, really good in any league (and probably won just as much as they did in the Pac 10). However, they wouldn't have won half their games by 40 points in the current SEC.

My point wasn't to downgrade those USC teams, it was to point out that the Pac 10 back then was pretty down. Comparatively, we understand how good our current league is and how difficult it is to consistently go 7-1 or 8-0 in our league each year. Point was, it isn't like we used to consider every game a cakewalk and now we're scared LSU might be kind of good. The league has always been right with us.

I wouldnt say fear but you also understand that every week in this conference you better play. had we been in the B1G we probably have 2 more national titles.

We certainly respect LSU and all teams but Auburn has been our biggest threat since our reign started. We expect to win them all and expect to beat LSU but if you turn the ball over.....we have to play solid, fundamental football. If we do that no one can beat us.

Fearful of losing to an LSU team that's, arguably, as talented from top to bottom as Alabama?

Teams lose. It happens and there's no shame in losing to LSU. With that said,

Right now we are focused on USC. We'll have our hands full with them. LSU is down the list and we'll worry about that come November.
As far as LSU taking over our reign, LSU will beat us from time to time as all teams will but LSU will never reign over Bama or the SEC regardless of who's on top. They had a little run when the SEC was quite down and Saban had been there and built a pretty good program. THey built a nice little 5 game stretch there when we were down in numbers. Since our numbers got back equal , well, its been a different story.
