I think it looks pretty sharp. The UK logo is slightly different, the blue endzones are new (and incorporating the Secretariat racing silk pattern that was included on the new uniforms a couple of years ago) and the turf is the same type used in the 2013 and 2014 Super Bowls. I also like the sideline colors.

The checkerboard reminds me of Tennesseee's but overall I think it looks pretty good

I believe he's alluding to the checkerboard endzones.

Neyland has had natural grass since 1994. Before that, UT had Doug's Rug (TartanTurf).

I guess they were talking about the checkerboard endzone.

Well, CWS has them because of the Secretariat racing silks, which are also on the shoulders of the jerseys.

At any rate, Kentucky was using checkerboard end zones at Stoll Field more than 30 years before Tennessee adopted the checkerboard pattern, so I don't see the issue.

I think I've waited all my life for blue endzones.

It would be great to see some pictures of the old Stoll field with the checkerboard .

ETA...I found this one, according to the link, it is from 1914., but I doubt it, since it has electric lights for night games.

Looks good. Not the biggest fan of different shades of green but that is very minor and just my personal preference.

I think that's actually from 1930ish. I think they were using them long before, but not a lot of pictures exist.
