First of all, he won't be fired, a 12M buyout ensures that.
The infrastructure is certainly there, and if you judge our recruiting classes under Stoops the talent is there.
The inability to have been at a minimum 6-6 the last 2 years is mind numbing, and here we are with mostly Stoops players on the staff, we have a horrible defense.
I can only guess at this point that Stoops is a good recruiter, but a poor HC and a poor game manager. He needs to prove differently, but I'm not seeing it currently and the clock is ticking.

I am completely fine with eating a big plate of crow while sitting at a sunny December bowl game. I'd like Stoops to pan out...He'd be "our guy" but he's still got a lot of work to do. Too many inexcusable gaffes thus far. I pretty much agree with Darryl, but Chester is right we need to support these guys. You just can't do it blindly like he does. Glad we got the crucial W. We need to show out v Bama and stay healthy and then focus on beating Vandy.
