Ole Miss could also see its football program’s case tried at the highest possible level, said John G. Long, a lawyer who operates his own firm that handles NCAA cases in Austin, Texas.“You’re talking about boosters, you’re talking about coaches, you’re talking about academic violations, you’re talking about assistants that are lying to the NCAA enforcement,” said Long, who isn’t part of Ole Miss’ case. “We’re not talking about a case here where there are some administrative mistakes and some kids were ineligible because they were in the wrong majors.
“I find it hard to believe that they’re going to say that it’s a Level I with mitigation. A win for Ole Miss would be if it’s processed as just a standard Level I on the penalty side. I think it’s very realistic that the Committee on Infractions will … see it as an aggravated case.”
A Level I-Aggravated case carries a postseason ban of two to four years.
Level I-Mitigated cases carry a postseason ban of zero to one year, while Level I-Standard cases carry a postseason ban of one to two

Wow!!! Doesn't sound like what the OM administration has lead their fan base to believe. That AD is extremely shady though

Meh.
There will be no sanctions, no scholarship lost, no postseason ban, no games forfeited and an apology to Hugh Freeze and Ole Miss from the NCAA for the trouble they've caused. That's what I'm hoping for.
I'm an upbeat kind of guy!!!
On a serious note, at this point, can we just play some football and get our minds off of this, enjoy the 2016 season, because it may be a while before we can do that again.

This is when you really get blasted. When the NCAA's not doing all the investigating.

David Johnson, owner of BlackBears247 and father of a Black Bear walk on, was set to interview with Bo Bounds this morning at 0830. 0830 comes but no David. But guess who shows up to "tour the studio?" Ross Bjork. Bounds later came back and said Johnson had to postpone because of the unexpected birth of their child

I'm getting the feeling that Swag and OM are going to ball out this year, contend for and maybe even win the West.
Wouldn't that be the ultimate WAOM thing ever --- for them to win the SEC and then have it vacated by the NCAA?

Why would it get vacated?

Do you State fans ever post anything about your own team? Your obsession is really pathetic. I know your only method of "success" is seeing our downfall.
