Kirby is coming home.

UGA set it up with him, or started the process, after the embarrassing loss to the gators.

With at least a dozen other teams, including SC, looking for a coach, we just did not step into this without having our guy lined up.

CMR looked tired and distracted through his last 4 wins. He already knew.

There are lots of rumors flying around, but at the end of the day, I am predicting CKS and that this has been in the works for a minute...

Tom Herman would be a great hire.
With that being said I hope UGA hires Kirby Smart

If UGA offers then he's gone.

Been waiting on this gig for a few years now.

It'll either be Herman or Smart.

UGA's first choice should and will be Herman. I expect him to be the next coach.

I'll be shocked if it's anyone but Kirby.

Kirby is unproven, but if he kept Pruitt and hired a great OC, it would be the most lethal recruiting staff known to man. Be careful what you wish for with UGA

Pruitt would likely get the nod as DC at Bama, I would think.

Don't count out Chip Kelly. He's arrogant enough to want to prove his offense will work in the SEC. But with that said, my money is on Smart. He has held out for this kind of opportunity.

I just don't buy that GA would fire Richt for Smart.
They have their coach lined up, someone with success and experience. It isn't going to be Smart.

But I would love Kirby at GAg.
