Since the start of Divisional Play (1992), what years would UGA have played in the SECCG if they were in the West ? Maybe 2005 ?

Maybe every fricking year since it's a hypothetical puff cloud...

2005 the year they were in the SECCG

This post reeks of insecurity, but definitely 2002.

But they lost to Auburn that year and did not play Alabama.

Uga has held up quite well vs the sec west In case you haven't noticed.

I wonder if lsu would have made it as well If they had to play Uga earlier.

Correct. Zero SEC West teams have a winning record vs. Richt. Not a single one.

In those years that UGA was above average, there always seemed to be someone in the West that was better. Timing is everything.

Mark Richt has gained control of the West

And imagine if we could have played them in the regular season instead of 1 game....maybe we beat that team like we do Auburn just about every year.
Maybe UGA has 7 sec championships and 4 national titles under Richt if we are in the West.

What seems and what is are often different things.

The years you did beat AU, there was usually two teams better that AU in the West. Not having to play UA in recent history, and LSU occasionally helped their cause. The one positive thing about playing in the West for UGA, maybe UF would not have been their permanent East opponent.

It's crazy that the ark vs vol game was why lsu did play for the sec and Uga did not.

I thought it was the Uga vs UT game that decided who played?
Posted on 6/14/15 at 8:16 pm to geauxnavybeatbama
Or was it lsu vs ark?
