I understand why you dont want to go to Gainesville

In general, legit home-away games are far better and really add to what makes college football special. I recall a few years ago BG fans were disappointed when they learned the game was in Nashville instead of at Neyland. That game was fine for us given that it was basically just another home game and for a large part of the fanbase an easier one to attend but I wouldn't want to make it a regular thing -- had it been our games against Oregon or Oklahoma or another team of that caliber I think it would've been terrible for both UT fans and visiting fans. A large part of what makes attending college games fun is taking in the campus, stadium, and general environment and those things just can't be replicated at neutral sites.

Yes. Desperately need the AU game to get back on schedule (had to play @AU twice in a row during expansion)

We hate having to play UGA/Bama consecutive Away too. During off years, it blows to end our home game schedule in October

The only way to do away with these crap schedules is to eliminate the divisions. Rotate the schedule and let the two best records play in the SECG. No more periods where you have shitty East or West years.

Are any UGA fans out there really pissed about this?

No not really, sets up nicely to go undefeated at home this season which is nice. Honestly though things work themselves out. In 2014 our home schedule was Clemson, Tennessee, Auburn, and Tech. And obviously, all the big away games we have this year will be at home next year. We also go on the road to ND this year (to be returned in '19).

As mentioned, getting no return trip from AU really screwed things up for both us and them.

It sucks for both AU and UGA. The SEC needs to fix this.

Kirby going Ole Yellow tooth from florida style. Play nobodies then play the east side of the SEC and look like a good coach but in reality not really a good coach.

Miss State being our best home game is a joke. I plan on selling at least half of my games and/or giving away to friends and family. I think Kentucky will be fun, which tells you all you need to know. The rest? Meh, boring

I feel for UGA fans and that schedule. The really exciting games all appear to be away.

Bright side is I guess the next year will be great?

I'd say good, not exactly great though.

Auburn, GT, Tennessee, Vandy.

We're at LSU, Mizzou, South Carolina, and Kentucky.

ETA: ND comes to Athens in 2019, not 2018 like I thought.
