First-year Georgia defensive graduate assistant Courtney Coard was arrested early Saturday morning on a DUI charge, according to AJC.com.
Coard has been suspended by the team. He was booked into jail at 4:31 a.m. for DUI and improper driving. He was released on $2,000 bond.
The former North Carolina A&T defensive line coach was a four-year starter at defensive tackle for North Carolina-Central from 2004-07.
Coard is one of four graduate assistants the Bulldogs have on staff.

Humm, Auburn fan sensationalizing a Georgia story?
He is a grad assistant. Not like it was the primary staff. Perhaps your title should reflect this?

Do you know what GA stands for?

This is a serious blow. Who else will run the film projector, set up the tackling dummies, and drive the golf cart for recruits???

He didn't know how the cops were in Athens. He must have thought it was like Knoxville.

It's because Athens cops are so tough and Jesus Richt insisted he pay the consequences for his sins

yes, but it would have been less attention getting if it was phrased for status and charge
Something along the line of…
UGA grad assistant gets DUI so you know it is not a primary person and the charge is DUI as opposed to rape, theft, or other bigger charge.

Couldn't keep it between the hedges.

Gets owned and then doubles down with this shite. The title is fine. You get the details in the OP. What a derp.

Quite possibly the most uninformed, idiotic statement ever made in this forum.
Everyone remotely connected to UT will tell you athletes have a KPD target on their back. They go out of their way to harass/arrest athletes, especially football players. KPD gets a lot of publicity for a player arrest.
