Who was the player or players that transferred from UAB to Georgia after the UAB program was shut down?

Do (they) have a chance of actually playing at UGA?

Jake Ganus will get serious playing time at ILB. He has stood out in practice and showed a nose for the ball in the spring game.

Other than that, I don't think there will be much contribution. Depth and college experience never hurt, but Ganus will be the only one whose name you hear on a regular basis I think.

Jake Ganus. ILB who was UAB's leading tackler.

He will probably play as the 3rd ILB or something like that.

ETA: pretty sure he was the only UAB transfer

Jake Ganus was the only transfer and, yes, he will play a fair amount. Likely won't start but he has a high football IQ and plays ILB with a quickness that we need this year. Should be a solid player for us.

Maybe I misread your answer but Ganus is the only transfer.
