I thought this was interesting seeing how few sacks we have been putting up, from Rivals:

quote:

For the third straight week, a Bulldog opponent finished with a different quarterback than the one who started the game, something Grantham feels is indicative of how hard he believes his defense is currently playing.

"It's nothing illegal; just that our guys are playing aggressive and they're playing hard," Grantham said. "It's showing that we're affecting the quarterback. Make no mistake about it, he (the quarterback) is the most important part of the offense."

Same thing with 'Bama. We've knocked out the starting QBs othe last 3 teams we've played. Maybe Upshaw kicked them all in the head when no one was looking.

I have been really happy w/ our D this year. CTG was a great hire.

From ESPN
quote:

Todd Grantham, defensive coordinator, Georgia: Hats off to Grantham and his defense in a 20-12 win. The Bulldogs had to prepare to face one of the league's biggest arms in Tennessee's Tyler Bray. Georgia stood tall and held Bray to zero touchdowns Saturday. It was the first time in 10 games that Bray didn't have at least two touchdown passes. Georgia's defense has only given up 10 touchdowns in six games this year and held Tennessee to minus-20 rushing yards. Players are really starting to get it on defense and are playing a lot more instinctively in Grantham's 3-4 this year.

Love the defense. Now if only Murray could hit the deep pass to Tavarres King and maybe Bobo wouldn't come away looking like such an arse hole

ETA Then again, Bobo would still call three straight draw plays with 46+ yards to go so he'd still be an arse hole, just a somewhat tolerable arse hole
