UF rode Tebow's religion PR for all it was worth.

Explain further if you would. What specifically did the University do to "ride" Tebow's faith?

Nature just took it's course in the case of Tebow. The media made tons off of him as well.

You speak in absolutes like you actually know the man. Do you know him? Otherwise you come across very biased.

Then no love lost on either side...Freeze did not want them and vice versa. I'd call that an even trade off.
There are NO character issues with Hugh Freeze...only insinuation or downright lies by those who cannot stand to see Ole Miss succeed.
As for religion not being the character issue, you cannot separate Hugh Freeze's faith and character in categories. He will not give you that option.
He is not a hypocrite and not a phony no matter how many times people attack him with lies.
I hope we keep him a long time too. he's not a super hero and he is human enough to admit he makes mistakes, but he models excellent values and is not ashamed to claim Jesus as his role model.
Will he win every player over? NO! Why? It is up to every individual to make the choice in matters of faith.
Not every player at Ole Miss will be a Christian or become one, but he/she will play for a man who will not be ashamed to stand up for his beliefs, and he will always try to guide his players.
He is NOT responsible if a player makes bad choices. He is not with them 24 hours a day. If the situation calls for it, he handles the good and the bad where his team is concerned.
I hope he's here a long time too!
Like someone in a similar situation as Freeze said a while back..When the Lord be Blessin ~ the Devil be Messin!

Urban Meyer was open about his faith. Just sayin
The school whose coach was trying to help players get away with rape and put a hit on the one young man brave enough to stand up against it should probably not be trying to talk about the character of coaches
WTF? Urban coached at Florida not FSU.
My bad, that was directed at Vols&Shaft and his coach who both clearly hate women.

Damn, these mofos talk about Freeze like The People's Temple folks talked about Jim Jones.
I guess they are gonna ride their Koolade train to the end as well.

I do know the family through friends on staff so I know how he acts and what he stands for. He's no hypocrite. Scoff if you must!
I am not biased...I just admire him and I love Ole Miss. He has brought respect back to our program.
He has done well here so far.... considering where we were and where we are right now.
He's a good man. Not perfect...but doesn't claim to be.
