Well shite, you cheat crazy at a school that's already at worst a top 10 job nationally you're going to win 2-3 titles a decade. Hell, you do it at Florida (now not 1980s Florida) and you might get the kind of pass that schools like USC and Bama get- minor sanctions and a slap on the wrist.

The school whose coach was trying to help players get away with rape and put a hit on the one young man brave enough to stand up against it should probably not be trying to talk about the character of coaches

WTF? Urban coached at Florida not FSU.

Whereas Bonghits for Freezus ran a tight ship, no Drug Use in Oxford, nosiree, hell Laremy was just showing our brave men and women overseas how to properly seat a gas mask.

I wouldn't call a two year bowl ban and losing 30 scholarships a slap on the wrist. Alabama also received a bowl ban for two years. Punishment like that would sink Ole Miss' program

You're right. The truth behind the blind side is much worse

Tunsil used a gas mask so he wouldn't contaminate his lily pure teammates.

Oh wait, kimdeche tried to fly out a window. Talking about high!

Freezus just ignored the dope use.

I don't put a lot of trust in Bianchi.

Bianchi is NOT well respected. He is a trash reporter willing to say anything to get attention.

He saw a window and rolled with it.

I started this thread by calling Bianchi well respected, but after listening to his interview on Finebaum I came away with opinion that he went over the top with his condescending comments about Ole Miss. I was not familiar with his style, just went by what Finebaum said in the lead up. Finebaum even started to argue with his hyperbole. I can see why a lot of people here don't like him or his yellow journalistic style. But he still brought up a point worth discussing, re Foley passed on Freeze because he had info Ole Miss under Freeze would soon be under ncaa microscope.

Man you are nuts. I am a brand new Rant member and have NEVER posted on this board until the past couple days. I've got more Bama blood than you I bet, haven't missed a game since 1961, either in person, radio, or tv, full game win or lose. My first Bama hero was Lee Roy Jordan. Get a life.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, getting a waft of bovine excrement...

when I lived in Florida, all my Florida friends hated Mike Bianchi. He seemed to always stir things up for the sake of stirring them up. He was on tv for a while and he really was just a guy who said outlandish things to get attention. He made stupid comments about all the schools in Florida and he seemed to be particularly interested in pissing off Florida fans and sucking up to some big fat guy named Lamm who was an ACC lover and SEC hater. Just my take on him.

Why do people say this? Bama got slapped with a major violation for self reporting that players were getting free textbooks for their friends just a few years ago

Then no love lost on either side...Freeze did not want them and vice versa. I'd call that an even trade off.

There are NO character issues with Hugh Freeze...only insinuation or downright lies by those who cannot stand to see Ole Miss succeed.
As for religion not being the character issue, you cannot separate Hugh Freeze's faith and character in categories. He will not give you that option.
He is not a hypocrite and not a phony no matter how many times people attack him with lies.

I hope we keep him a long time too. he's not a super hero and he is human enough to admit he makes mistakes, but he models excellent values and is not ashamed to claim Jesus as his role model.
Will he win every player over? NO! Why? It is up to every individual to make the choice in matters of faith.

Not every player at Ole Miss will be a Christian or become one, but he/she will play for a man who will not be ashamed to stand up for his beliefs, and he will always try to guide his players.

He is NOT responsible if a player makes bad choices. He is not with them 24 hours a day. If the situation calls for it, he handles the good and the bad where his team is concerned.

I hope he's here a long time too!

horseshite.

UF didn't want Freeze. I don't care if he's a cheat or not. He can cheat or not cheat all he wants at OM.

None of that matters because YAOM.

Come on Hotty....Tim Tebow wore bible verses on his eyeblack and UF rode Tebow's religion PR for all it was worth.
