GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Two Florida football players have been charged with misdemeanors after allegedly leaving a local bowling alley without paying their tabs.
Running back Adam Lane and defensive tackle Caleb Brantley allegedly entered Splitz Bowling Alley at about 8:55 p.m. on July 4, then left at 9:45 without paying, according to a sworn complaint affidavit filed with the Alachua County Sheriff's Office.
Lane's tab was for $16.93, while Brantley's was for $42.34.
Both have been charged with obtaining food or lodging with intent to defraud, a second-degree misdemeanor, according to Alachua County court records.
