At +13

LSU is the next closest at +7

This is why it perplexes me that LSU fans seem to think UF only was close to beating them because of lucky breaks.

This team rarely turns the ball over and creates takeaway opportunities at a high rate.

That fumble by White on the punt was a lucky break

If LSU was actually good on special teams, I'd agree with you

That's a new realm of bad, dude. I see no way that happens in a game again. Literally just touched it, not even a muff

It happened two games in a row. Florida punts LSU/Georgia muffs

Trying to claim a moral victory 3 weeks after the game? Interesting

A season long stat has little to do with a specific game

You created a muffed punt?

LSU has turned it over twice all year. Is that more or less than Florida? You were gifted a turnover, and it very rarely happens with LSU this year. And you didn't force anything.

Why are yall still looking for moral victories? You have a very good team that may get the chance to redeem itself against LSU.

Probably because, as you likely know since you looked up this stat...LSU has had exactly one fumble lost this year, and the tip/muff of that punt. We don't turn the ball over. I could give a shite less what your margin is. 35-28. Take that gift and our sucky special teams. It's not common that LSU has an issue with either. We'll be you by half a hunnid next time.

You cannot count on turnovers carrying your team an entire year. And you can't count on your ball carriers to hold onto to the ball always, either. It works both ways. Ole Miss has been a turnover machine, save for a couple of games. They've been winning on sheer talent alone. The one remedy that can work against Florida is attacking the middle of their defense. Fournette was able to exploit this for a large part of the game. I realize that he is on another planet, but so is LSU's O-Line. You better have an above average O-Line to neutralize the gator pass rush. I still don't think Treon Harris is going to single-handedly beat an opponent, but McElwain is doing a marvelous job, as are his assistants, in game-planning all year.

A punt returner muffing a punt is a lucky break, it's not a "forced" turnover

My apologies I forgot there could be no reasonable discussion with LSU fans on this board

Scratch that. Ole Miss is +7 in turnover margins this year. Florida just whooped that arse.

If you're determining what's reasonable based on people agreeing with you wholeheartedly when you are wrong, then I doubt you could have reasonable discussions with anyone.

A muffed punt is an unforced error. A muffed punt inside the 10 is a gift. LSU has 1/3 of the turnovers the UF has, so it's quite a break to get one on us. How is any of that wrong?
