UCLA will use both the huddle abd the spreads no huddle. UCLA is built to play both systems on defense and offense. On offense you might see a more traditional offense when inside either 20 and on short yardage situations. You might see a no huddle spread when the middle of the field is wide open. That is what we saw in the first two weeks of fall camp.

I am sure a dual offensive system will work perfectly the first time they ever use it.

Sorry read the spread wrong. Trust me Nozone is rich in stats. Had one of the best field goal kickers last year, those were easy TD from inside the 20 were rare. Nozone run yardage comes from read option and it was clear Rosen was not allowed to run the option so UCLA failed many 3rd and 4th and short situations because Nozone is horrible play caller. I heard Mazzone will not have 100% reign on the offense you better hope that is true.

How's your Oline looking? A&M will have one of the best Dlines in the country this year, so they better be ready.

Game will be decided on the OL. A&M is in the bottom ten in the FBS in total starts on the OL, and aggies start talking about how bad their OL coach is and it will help, go look at the OL depthchart and tell me who do you expect to be calling the blitz pickups?

UCLA has a solid set of upper classmen on the DL. Like any other game, if they control the LOS, things get real dicey.

Same goes the other way. If Garret has learned not to overrun every play going for the sack, UCLA will struggle with the LOS. if he keeps doing what he did last year it will be off to the races again. The A&M line is still rather thin and if the DE's keep losing outside contain the ags will struggle, especially with the loss of their saftey a few days ago

So... you're mad the offense took a slight step back when you went w/a freshman QB who isn't much of a runner?

If Rosen could run the read option don't you think Mazzone would have called more runs for him?

Stats take bias & butthurt out.

Why wasn't his TD% lower?

Sounds like your HC handcuffed your OC.

UCLA was 23rd in 3rd %, 29th in 4th %.

Our DL is not thin. Deepest they've been in years.

He wasn't a starter

Take away his lone long run and he has negative rush yards on the season. He's not a college runner. It is that simple.

Our HC is a CEO. Our OCs have always had 100% control; that was the problem with the last one.

Rosen is simply not a runner.

Knight is.

So that problem has been solved.

Which Aggie has EVER said Jim Turner is a terrible OL coach? The last two, who we fired, were terrible.

Turner was Mike Sherman's OL coach.

You're confusing his freshman year with last year. He was much improved against the run last year.

I've always loved this reasoning.
"Take away the things that he has done, and he hasn't done them."

Genius.
