It'd have to be Kenny Payne. He's from Mississippi (who State probably should've dropped Ray for and gone after) and has considered some HC positions. They're definitely not going to hire Barbee.

Robic has turned down numerous HC jobs to stay with Cal. I don't think he'll ever take on an HC job at this point.

They had Grant so...

The Calipari/Donovan/Self/Izzo coaching trees do not bare ripe fruit.

Bama would be smart to look at Brad Underwood, but they will probably go west to El Paso to try to get a HC.

If you want a HC not good enough for Indiana, go down to Texas and get Mike Davis.

He turns programs around.

0.

Saw on fb that Stansbury was a potential candidate. That would be interesting.

I would actually love this hire. Take the last two years off his resume and he is a top 10-15 in America coach. Great recruiter, hard working, experienced, and still only 48. I'm not sure if he would be willing to coach in the south or at a football school though.
