Two articles that should frighten the SEC

LSU is returning most of the starters from the #1 SEC defense from last year that barely made any sacks. For this year, it'll help if your backup QB is adequate.
On Danielle Hunter...
"As soon as we drafted him, I made a cut-up of every single rush he had at LSU," the Vikings' defensive line coach said. "I had him come to my office, and I said, 'I want you to explain to me what you were being taught to do.' So we're sitting there, and he's explaining to me how they were teaching him to rush. Well, you run [a 40-yard dash in] 4.5 [seconds]. But you take off on the snap of the ball, and you run wide. Now, the offensive tackle just kicks back and waits on you. You might as well be running 4.9, 5-flat. And number two, I don't think he was exposed to how the offensive lineman was trying to pass protect against him. He was just out there, using his athleticism and trying to make something happen. The first thing I wanted to do was find out what he knew and why I was seeing what I was seeing."
Vikings coach
"The Tigers are in dire need of a pass-rushing boost. LSU hit a sack low last season. Its 19 sacks were fewer than the program has had since 2000, and that number is miles from what this squad is used to.
LSU averaged 33 sacks a season from 2001-2013. Championships and sacks? They go hand and hand in Baton Rouge. LSU’s three championship-winning teams over that time – 2011, 2007, 2003 – had at least 37 sacks.
Get sacks. Get rings."
LSU's Ed Orgeron brings sack-focused system full of schematic changes
Consider yourself warned.. Geaux Tigers!
(Oh yeah, plus Harris has huge upset potential)
(Oh yeah, plus the OL will be maulers)
(Oh yeah, plus Bugga and Guice are big timers)
(Oh yeah, plus Malachi will shread teams from the slot)
(Oh yeah, plus Beckwith is roaming around the middle)
(Oh yeah, plus LSU is DBU!!)
(Oh yeah, plus it's the fourth year in the Tiger Title Cycle)
(Oh yeah, LSU has the most ESPN preseason All-SEC first teamers)

And Trey Quinn is better than Speedy Noil. Another 0 TD season should get Quinn All-American status.

SHHHHHHH let them find out when the games are played.

Sack focused huh?
What a genius new defensive philosophy LSU has.

Cool. The Defensive Coordinator that coached you to the #1 total defense left for your pseudo-rival, and you replaced him with a guy that's been fired by fricking Clemson. Yet, the propaganda that you posted is supposed to scare someone?
I appreciate the emphasis on getting more sacks, but does that mean other parts of your defense won't regress? Can Steele put together a good enough scheme to slow down the offenses that are out there today?
Clemson sure seems to be doing better on that side of the ball these days.

I'll save this and 5 to 10 years from now you will remember me telling you.
I'm not sure about Trey Quinn that's a perhaps.

Way too shiny. I don't have the time for that today.

Your new defensive coordinator gave up 70 points to a Big East team. He may have been a solid position coach, but y'all really messed up with that hire and it will show on the field.

There is no perhaps. His 0 TD season speaks for itself. The guy is amazing.

Speedy is good. Happy? You're still going to get run out of the stadium the day after thanksgiving.
