I guess officials can account for 400+ yards rushing that his defense gave up.

Don't forget the side judge that had to keep up with Eddie and Bo.

I would have liked to see Tennessee but I think we can sum up why things turned out the way they did like this.

1. Bama has better players and more of them than Tennessee
2. Things were made worse by injuries but it relates to #1 above
3. Tennessee's gameplan, based on poor offensive line play/injuries and a quarterback who cannot throw downfield is basically what Bama wishes everyone would do. It plays perfectly to their strengths.

this is why the good HC's dont let their assistants do things such as speaking to the media or to groups. I would not be surprised if the SEC office out of Bhm puts him in the dawg house

I believe he said it speaking to a group of Vol fans in a QB club type setting.

Yeah, I believe so. The guy who tweeted it is a UT beat writer.

The only two I remember were the Pick Six in which Hurd got caught up in traffic trying to release and was held/rammed by Reuben Foster (as Foster was being held by an OL) and 15 yard back shoulder route that Butch was sure should have been PI.

Butch went nuts about us getting an extra :01 to try a FG at the end of the half (that Griffith immediately shanked, as usual), but it was clear the officials were right.

And, as usual, like all of our games this year, the final penalty tally was

Tennessee : 1 penalty for 10 yards
Alabama : 5 penalties for 38 yards
