surely they've already reached an agreement with his replacement if they really are going to push him out. Muschamp??

that's got the town buzzin'. How are they going to keep that quiet for two days ? Don't buy it. That's a lot of dough Auburn's going to have to shell out. All I can figure out is Tuberville is balking at canning a particular asst or two.

If Auburn does fire him, it will only reinforce what Alabama fans insist in that Auburn is freaking out about Saban. You really want to prove their point,AU ?

is it really that big of a surprise? I was shocked that so many thought he had another year. Auburn tried to ditch the guy behind the cover of night when he was winning. What made people think he was safe after this year?

That would be a great hire for State.

Actually it would be. As much as I really don't like him, I'd take him.

You can only fire so many coordinators before the administration realizes you are the problem. Tubbs time has ran out. I do think it can send a message of panic because it happens during the one season the last 8 years that Bama does better than you and beats you. But, as far as I'm concerned, it was a lock as soon as they lost their 5th game.

Auburn really needs to get a top notch coach. the problem is they waited for Bama to get one first. It will be very hard for them to get one now, IMO.

No way, no how. I want a young, up and coming coach with enthusiasm and a decent offensive scheme. He doesn't have to have a big name either.

Ever since the Petrino fiasco I have viewed Tubbs and Auburn as a strained relationship. It needs to end so both parties can finally move on.

Saw the headline this morning when I got on the computer..

And I really dont see who they would go after to be their HC. Not really any big names coming up to the end of a contract that come to my mind.
