Historical rivalry going back to the 1920's. Lopsided in ND's favor but both schools appreciate the rivalry.

VOLS have more wins against Alabama than anyone else in the country. VOLS beat Alabama at a much higher clip than LSU does yet you frickers are obsessed with them and desperately want to be considered "rivals" of Alabama.

Football with our teams didn't start in the year 2000.

In the early 1800s, France was one of the great powers of the world. In the 2000s, they aren't, and LSU has a winning record vs. both Tennessee and Alabama. But hey, Napoleon was a bad arse.
