LA Tech also has a far better head coach than LSU.

Skip wouldn’t have been my choice, not even close...but O would never have even made the list. His tenure at OM and the UF game last year would have both been automatic disqualifiers.

I said when we played LA Tech that we played the best team in Louisiana

Now I'm starting to believe it

I am just happy someone is considering LSU football to be "big boy football" these days.

Um, wasn't he OC for two seasons (2013 & 2014) and left UK to take the Troy job.
You are correct. I was confusing him Shannon Dawson.

It was a just one of those games where a team is a lot better then they seem on paper. LSU played flat, Troy played like their tails were on fire, and the game was not as close as the score indicated.

I'm not saying that to troll LSU. God knows the last few years Arkansas has had its share of games like that.

It sucks. Its one thing to lose a game to team that is at your level, close to it, or quite a bit better. That's football.

Its another to get whipped by a team you should be much better then.

If the Troy HC can keep this up and have another decent season I would not be surprised to see some folks at the AAC or Conference USA giving him some serious looks.

Jesus, Coach made sure there was no foreplay there before going in dry with the zinger!

Savage tactics...

I was wrong, he wasn't canned. Apparently he had a tearful goodbye. I was thinking of Shannon Dawson from West Virginia.

And he is right. They dominated in the trenches. They were not given this game. They came into our house (on homecoming no less) and took it from us.

Pathetic.

Troy fans need to enjoy the next 8 games...they might be his last 8 at TU. Not just because of Saturday night but his 2 + year body of work at the school. He can do better (especially financially) soon.

Neal Brown is working hard down there. This is his last season at Troy, he's ready for bigger and better things.
