I remember when some AU fans tried to explain how JSU was a good team. Good times.

Actually Troy got screwed out of a 99 yard fumble return for TD in that game. Clemson player fumbled but was called down. They scored on next play and won by 6.

Yep. The ref didn't blow the whistle when forward progress was clearly stopped. I guess they were giving him a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th try to get in. Then the ball gets stripped and miraculously a whistle was blown while our guy was sprinting the other way. Home cooking for sure.

Don't understand all the Troy love. They're a nice little team and would definitely be the 4th best team in the SEC, but is beating LSU really a big accomplishment?

Maybe one day Troy and Alabama can both be as good as Pitt.

I wish lsu played JSU this year. Would be awesome to see them go 0-4 against the state.

If you take out the word "almost" and then replace the word Clemson with lsu and then replace the word last with this you get

Troy beat lsu this year

I was shocked to find out that Troy actually has beaten several Power 5 teams this century: other than LSU, they have wins over Missouri, Miss State and, this is the most shocking, a BIG win over Oklahoma State!
