Unlike certain teams in the conference universities like LSU, UGA, and UT continue to show that they are not afraid to play another big name opponent in their home stadium

The college football playoff needs to start forcing teams to play OOC home and home series.

Too bad Oklahoma who tried to get Bama in a home and home have to play UT again

Kent State would be a more competitive team to schedule than Tennessee.

LSU has home and home series scheduled with Texas and UCLA coming up. And we play neutral site games, get you a team that can do both!

Because Bama has never scheduled a home and home with Oklahoma before...

You don't know who tried to get who for H/H, so STFU up about that without proof. Bama was asked out of/ bought out of (who gives a phuck) their 2013-14 H/H with GT which led to three straight neutral site games. Which led to Saban's preference for them. Which led to the dissolvement of the 2017-18 Michigan State H/H. Which probably had more to do with not wanting to kick a buddy's a$$ two more times. 87-7 in the previous two games was enough.

Kent State is a tougher opponent than a top 25 Tennessee football team

Our schedule is shite because Michigan dropped out of a home and home with us, left us holding the bag so they could play the damned Irish.

In fairness, Bama got pretty much the same competition from Kent State as they did from Tennessee.

TEXAS, NOTRE DAME, TENNESSEE TOP FORBES' MOST VALUABLE COLLEGE FOOTBALL TEAMS

December 22, 2015
It's a good time to be part of the football programs at Texas, Notre Dame and, surprisingly, Tennessee because those three schools are the most valuable college football teams in 2015.

According to Chris Smith of Forbes, the Longhorns topped the rankings with a total value of $152 million and $92 million in profit; Notre Dame and Tennessee were a distant second and third with values of $127 million and $121 million, respectively.

Smith also noted that Texas' huge profit for 2015 is almost as much money as Alabama generated in revenue ($97 million), so things are going well for the Longhorns off the field even if the on-field product is coming off back-to-back losing seasons. "

Except Kent State didn't have nine starters out.
