Why would Harvey poison trees in Louisania?
He only kills the trees of teams that beat Bama.

I would guess this is a suicide. Even the trees get tired of living down there.

sad story. this isn't the only incident, either.
they call this guy the "treender" or tree ender. he attacks at night, apparently utilizing a silencer on his drill bit. most think he's just an overzealous horticulturalist gone mad, believing that trees (big, mature trees) deserve to be "free" and out in the open. That living in and "breathing" polluted air is no life to live for a tree; explicitly, death is a better option.

Strangely, this story is actually very loosely related to the SECRant. I'm pretty sure that the woman who they interviewed for the story is Skip Bertman's daughter.
