Tattoo itself is really well done and pretty sweet.

It's just the location that makes it meh. At least get it somewhere you can cover up if you absolutely have to.

Tattoos that can't be covered up in normal attire absolutely affect jobs.

What he said. It doesn't affect all jobs but if you plan on actually having a career in something other than driving a forklift or flipping burgers then don't get visible tattoos.

Depends on the job. I'd say where I work, a ton of people have tattoos and no one gives a shite. I did see a guy a few months back in a public position with gorey and inappropriate arm sleeve tattoos and that actually upset me.

I agree tattoos on neck and even like this on the hand can be trashy. I hate that just because you have a tattoo means you're trashy. Especially with veterans. It's the oh we will offer a job to veteran, but oh no it's trashy because he has a half sleeve of naval tradition. I say this because a bar in Athens turned my friend away because he had a tattoo. The tattoo was a navy one and when I asked for the manager we were let in.
