The worse thing someone can do is turn their back on their home state and sign with a rival in conference from another state
What are the worse traitors in SEC history

Just look at the last Heisman Derrick Henry from Florida playing with Alabama

Nick Saban is not one because he had no ties to Louisiana or LSU he just used them to jump to a better job

Just...just log off and go get some sleep. This is embarrassing, even by Rant standards.

I largely agree with you, although I can also understand if a player leaves their home state because they are bored of it and want a new experience...or because they sanely wish to pursue UCLA cheerleaders.

Miami? Seriously? His tenure there was a shite show. He is a really good college coach but he is a horrible NFL coach.

You are reaching here. Leaving your home state is not the worst thing you could do if you're a football player. I will play though. The biggest traitor by your definition to the university of Alabama is Jamarcus Russell. We really needed a five star QB when he left the state.

You certainly had a heck of a first day. It's hard to prove yourself to be a complete idiot in only one day but I see you are an overachiever.

According to your premise it would be Bear Bryant and what he built at Alabama.

I don't understand how Bear qualifies. Because he grew up in Arkansas? But did Arkansas offer him a scholarship?

Being born in a state doesn't make it your home state. Growing up in a state does.

In my opinion it does. It's too vague to be able to say "growing up". What signifies "growing up"?

Maybe those schools should do a better job of recruiting.
Don't you think some of the players want to get away from home as well?
