Well damn, So if LSU wins the NC, there is going to be an asterisk.

*LSU got through their 2015 schedule undefeated. Fournette ran for 300+ on 3 SEC opponents, but it was determined by the SEC Rant, probably a gump, that LSU had posted zero defenses all year. Thus they petitioned/threatened the SEC office with finbaum phone calls that demandedLSU's NC be revoked and the trophy handed over to Alabama, who finished a respectable 9-3. The playoff trophy now has its own shrine in Tuscaloosa right next to the little Debbie's and Dr. Pepper

I have observed those arguments in a thread on the first page. I did not make any such argument. Those involved in that argument now have some stats to use to make their case one way or another.

You'll have to search or just trust me. I haven't said LSU hasn't played a defense worth a crap on this site or in person to my LSU buddy.

Some posters are just irritable this morning. Haven't taken their morning dump yet. Clearly.

I don't think they put asterisks beside NCs.

I'm told Arky, UF, OM and aTm aren't good. It's not your fault we all suck again.

Maybe aTm is good. I don't know. I've just seen talk about how they suck and are going to get killed by LSU again.

This place is a tad weird though.

Here is a stat,

LF7 has more rush yards than UF's entire team combined in only 4 games to UF's 5.

Basically sums it up. While Fournette has run wild, he's faced no defense with a pulse. The numbers don't lie.

Syracuse is 17th in total rushing yards allowed per game and 18th in rushing yards allowed per carry.

You create a thread then whine endlessly that people post in your thread. Yeah.

That's a good stat but I highly doubt it will be useful in an argument about whether or not LSU has played a defense worth a damn to date.

LF is really good. Best back in the nation right now IMO.

And they play in a power 5 conference.

Sounds like you are whining to me. It's all a matter of perspective. If you don't like stats, don't click. It's pretty easy.

Its a good thing UF's O is 75th in the nation.

At least we wont have to worry about being blown out.

I'm confused. UF sucks and is clearly not back... why do people keep bringing them up in this thread about LSU?

Are you using these stats in a debate and losing? I can show you how to see if you can dig deeper to help your case. I'm not going to do the work though because I'm not debating anyone. I don't have an opinion about the defenses LSU has played and have made no argument on one side or the other.

I think you're being disingenuous. Of course you were making an argument. Keep denying it, though.

LSU is not a one man show. Without Fournette of course we would take a step back. He's benefitting, though, from the best LSU offensive line in almost a decade. Our backups are running well. They just don't have the same home run potential that Fournette has.

Another stat that won't be useful for the argument that LSU has or hasn't played a defense worth a darn.

Good info for different arguments though. See if you can find a UF poster claiming that the UF offense is awesome. Use your stat and you'll completely own them.

You can't take anything Bama fans have to say about LF serious, they went all in to land him and he told them to frick Off.

I can certainly see your point of view. However, I haven't made any assertions and generally like LSU, our rivalry and most of your fans.

There was a thread on the first page this morning making arguments that LSU hasn't played a defense worth a darn and it was just noise. Now anyone wanting to make that argument or defend against such an argument has the basic tools to do so.

However, IF I was defending LSU I could do so with some extra digging. It would just take some work.

IF I was saying LSU hasn't played a good defense yet, I wouldn't bother digging. I'd just say STATS!

Go to the first page of the thread for assistance.

TIL LSU fans don't like stats.

Well there was nothing LSU could do about improving their defenses and let's face it,LF did what he had to do and probably could have gotten 300 on all of them. While I agree he will find the road ahead much tougher to grade,I wouldn't bet against him getting his yards.
