It is hard to believe we will be top 10 again. Possible? Sure. Likely? Nope. Top 25 can be done though

You know what's crazy? That guy thinking the number 10 defense may slip a little following the loss of the best player on the unit. What a idiot that guy is.

Don't be so hard on yourself. We all make mistakes occasionally.

Meh, they did it with an incompetent (largely) offense hampering them. DLine will probably take a step back sure, but I expect LBs to be a wash and for the secondary to be waaaay better. I don't really think it's hard to believe.

To be clear I'm not saying we're a lock for top 10, but our depth is better than it's ever been on defense in a long, long time, even with the losses of Flowers, Philon, and Spaight.

NO comparison in yards to Ark backs since they will outrush everyone in attempts due to scheme

LSU basically runs an I formation, run the ball every down offense with an incompetent quarterback, yet other teams' schemes inflate their RBs' numbers

The defense had the same players in 2013 and they were terrible. New DC and secondary coach made a huge difference.

Plus our ball control offense will help the defense out a lot

I'll take the duo that both average over 6.4 ypc including one over 7ypg as #1. With Gurley out of the way, this is going to be absolutely nasty combo. Chubb Avg 120 ypg with less than 17 carries per game. He will now get the carries and worn down defenses will have to deal with the speed and slasher in Sony.

SoNic about to go Boom! and turn the SEC into their bitch

This I will agree with on this post!

Look that is a great list but no way in hell can you leave off Fournette and Williams. They will end up some where close to the top by seasons end.

I thought this was a thread about RBs, so why are you including carries by QBs and WRs?

Attempts by RBs:

1. UGA (530)
2. Arky (478)
3. Bama (464)
4. LSU (457)
5. AU (416)
6. Mizzou (411)
7. USCe (368)
8. UF (354)
9. UT (334)
10. aTm (329)
11. State (325)
12. Vandy (301)
13. OM (287)
14. UK (285)
